Shaga Odyssey – awarded website development for Web3 Gamepad

Our work for the Shaga Controller began with a comprehensive analysis of competitors in the gaming controller market. We identified strengths and weaknesses in existing product websites, focusing on areas such as user engagement, visual storytelling, and feature communication. This research provided a roadmap for differentiating the Shaga Controller’s digital presence by emphasizing its innovative features, such as Web3 integration, biometric security, and cross-platform compatibility.

Using these insights, we transitioned into the design process, crafting a structure that aligned the website’s content with Shaga’s business objectives. Wireframes were developed to ensure content clarity and intuitive navigation, while keeping the product’s cutting-edge nature at the forefront. Moodboards helped define the visual direction, incorporating futuristic and tech-forward elements that aligned with the controller’s branding and functionality.

In the UI design phase, we brought the concept to life. Animations and interactivity were key components, compensating for the lack of 3D model files by using creative animations of high-resolution product images. Visual depth was added with a mix of dynamic elements, including immersive animations, typography, and a neutral color palette, creating a polished and responsive digital experience across all devices.

By combining strategic research and thoughtful design, we delivered a website that not only captured the essence of the Shaga Controller but also positioned it as a trailblazer in the gaming and Web3 ecosystem. The result is a digital presence that inspires trust, excitement, and anticipation among its users.

The development phase began with a well-organized handoff process that included finalized mockups, a comprehensive UI kit, and detailed specifications for every website component. The UI kit provided a clear roadmap, including all necessary design elements, their states, and precise guidelines for animations and interactions. Additionally, storyboards for key animations were created to ensure seamless transitions from concept to implementation.

Constant communication between designers and developers throughout the project played a pivotal role in meeting tight deadlines. This collaboration ensured that all planned animations and interactive features were not only preserved but accurately realized on the website.

The project was developed using Webflow, chosen for its efficiency and adaptability to Shaga’s requirements. This low-code platform allowed for rapid iteration and precise alignment with the design vision while maintaining the highest quality. By leveraging Webflow’s capabilities and the preparatory work of the design team, we delivered a visually dynamic, responsive website in record time, providing users with a seamless and engaging experience across all devices.
