Venator is a blockchain-based competitive game designed around the “compete-to-earn” model, blending intense player-versus-player action with digital asset integration. Players engage in matches to earn loot boxes that contain NFT cosmetics, which can be used to personalize their characters or traded on a marketplace for profit. The game promotes a thrilling “hunt” dynamic, with each kill earning rewards directly transferable to connected cryptocurrency wallets.

Key features include earning and unlocking loot boxes, customizing characters with unique NFT cosmetics, and trading items for potential profit. Venator integrates seamlessly with major crypto wallets, emphasizing both gameplay and digital ownership.

Problems & solutions
The brand needs to stand out in the competitive gaming and blockchain market while reflecting the core themes of competition, innovation, and digital ownership.

We designed a bold logo inspired by futuristic, angular shapes to convey innovation and energy. A yellow-accented color palette paired with tech-inspired typography (Chakra Petch and Red Hat Display) emphasized modernity while maintaining readability and approachability.
The brand required scalability and adaptability for digital assets, promotional merchandise, and physical touchpoints.
We created a flexible branding system with logo variations, social media templates, and scalable assets.
The game’s blockchain mechanics, NFT integration, and “compete-to-earn” model were complex and potentially intimidating to new users.
We used a modular layout structure with concise messaging, visually engaging infographics, and interactive animations to explain features clearly.

Stage 1

Logo Design

The logotype of a Venator is a recognizible logomark with three main things potential player could get in the game:

  • Crosshair – where you see your victim before shoot
  • Shield – as an elements of protection to earn more
  • Bullet rain – the last element, and I`d like to tell you more about it.

Custom wordmark for our logo shows the sci-fi attributes in a symbols, to make the logo more visually expressive, and made a few empty spaces on each letter to show the destruction and danger of a game process.
Graphic sign becomes recognizible because of the main naming letter inside.

Stage 2

Colors & Typography

The Venator color palette and typography were crafted to embody the brand’s futuristic, sci-fi-driven aesthetic, emphasizing progress, energy, and innovation.

The primary colors – deep dark blue and light grey – reflect a sleek, futuristic look, reinforcing Venator’s alignment with sci-fi themes and cutting-edge technology. These shades convey sophistication and forward momentum. To inject vibrancy and highlight the brand’s competitive edge, we introduced a bright orange-yellow gradient as an accent. This dynamic contrast adds energy and captures the spirit of innovation and excellence at the heart of the gaming world.

For typography, we selected Chakra Petch, a geometric sans-serif font with distinct sci-fi influences. Its clean, angular forms project a sense of precision and technological advancement, perfectly aligning with Venator’s bold and competitive ethos. Complementing this is Red Hat Display, a sans-serif font with softer, rounded curves. This secondary typeface introduces warmth and accessibility, ensuring the brand remains approachable and resonates with the gaming community.

Together, this combination balances sharp futurism with human connection, creating a visual identity that reflects both Venator’s competitive drive and its inclusive, community-driven nature.
