How does design strategy impact the success of digital products?

From my perspective, design strategy defines how a product evolves over time. It’s not just about individual screens — it’s about how the entire system works, scales, and supports business goals. At Phenomenon Studio, we approach design as part of product strategy. We align UX, UI, and design systems with product and business objectives to ensure that design decisions contribute to long-term growth, not just short-term improvements.

What role do design systems play in scaling digital products?

For me, design systems are essential for maintaining consistency and efficiency. They help teams build faster, reduce design and development gaps, and ensure that the product remains cohesive as it grows. At Phenomenon Studio, we create scalable design systems with reusable components and clear logic. This allows teams to expand products, launch new features, and maintain quality without increasing complexity.

How do you ensure alignment between design, product, and engineering teams?

I focus on creating shared understanding across teams — from product goals to technical constraints. This helps ensure that design decisions are realistic and aligned with implementation. At Phenomenon Studio, we build processes that connect design, product, and engineering from the start. Through collaboration and system-based thinking, we reduce friction and deliver solutions that are both usable and technically sound.
